Porcellino Artisanal Meats, LLC (“Porcellino,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to delivering high-quality artisanal meat products. Because we sell perishable food items, refunds and returns are limited and subject to the terms outlined below. This policy replaces any prior refund or return policy.
REVIEW PERIOD
Customers may contact Porcellino regarding eligible refund or replacement concerns within thirty (30) days of purchase. This review period allows concerns to be evaluated but does not guarantee a refund and does not extend return rights for perishable food products.
PERISHABLE GOODS AND FINAL SALE
Due to the perishable nature of our products, all sales are final once shipped, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Returns of food products are not accepted.
ELIGIBILITY FOR REFUNDS OR REPLACEMENTS
Refunds or replacements may be considered only if Porcellino determines, in its sole discretion, that one of the following applies:
• The product arrived damaged
• The product was defective or spoiled upon delivery
• The incorrect product was shipped
Refunds or replacements are not issued for taste preference, personal dissatisfaction, delayed retrieval, or improper storage or handling after delivery.
REPORTING AN ISSUE
Concerns must be reported promptly after delivery and within the thirty (30) day review period.
Porcellino may require:
• Clear photographic documentation
• Verification of delivery details
• Retention of original packaging
Failure to provide requested information or timely notice may result in denial of the request.
NON-REFUNDABLE CIRCUMSTANCES
Refunds or replacements will not be issued for:
• Orders shipped to an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address provided by the customer
• Delays caused by shipping carriers, weather events, or circumstances beyond our control
• Products not retrieved promptly upon delivery
• Improper storage, handling, or consumption
• Gift cards, which are non-refundable except where required by law
APPROVED REFUNDS AND PROCESSING TIME
If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
Refunds are processed through Shopify Payments or other payment processors enabled on the Site (such as Stripe where applicable). While Porcellino processes approved refunds promptly, final posting time is controlled by the payment processor and the customer’s financial institution.
Most refunds appear within 5–10 business days, but in some cases may take up to 30 days to appear on the customer’s statement, depending on the bank or card issuer.
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or expressly approved by Porcellino.
PARTIAL REFUNDS
In certain situations, Porcellino may issue a partial refund rather than a full refund, depending on the nature and extent of the issue.
POLICY UPDATES
Porcellino reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes are effective upon posting and apply to purchases made after the update.
